Frequently asked questions
Sizing, comfort, covers and delivery — the questions we get most often.
Stocked models leave our Danish warehouse in 2–4 weeks. Made-to-order pieces depend on the textile you choose — typically 6–8 weeks, and up to 13–15 weeks for the more specialised fabrics. The lead time for both is stated on every product page.
Ours are built to be. Instead of a folded seat cushion you get a genuine comfort system — no-zag or pocket springs topped with high-resilient foam — and a flat, continuous sleeping surface. Each product page lists the bed size, mattress height, firmness (soft, medium or firm) and the maximum supported weight, so you can compare before you choose. Adding a topper lifts night-after-night comfort further.
Filter by bed size group in the shop. As a rule: 70–90 × 200 cm suits one adult or a child's room; 115–120 × 200 cm is a generous single; 135–145 × 195–200 cm is a comfortable double; and 150–180 cm wide models give two adults full width. Every listing also shows the sofa footprint, so you can check it against your room.
On many models, yes. Each product states whether a detachable cover is included, optional or not available for that frame. Where the cover can be removed, most textiles are machine washable at 30 °C — the exact care instruction is listed against every textile in the textile library.
Look at the Martindale figure — it counts the abrasion cycles a fabric withstands. Our library runs from roughly 27,000 up to 200,000 cycles; anything above 40,000 is comfortable for daily domestic use, and the higher grades suit heavy or contract use. Pilling and light-fastness grades and OEKO-TEX status are listed alongside, and you can filter the library by all of them.
Five years on the frame and mechanism. Our designs are tested against European and global standards for durability, stability and safety, and the warranty document is downloadable from every product page. Normal wear to upholstery and fair wear-and-tear on moving parts sit outside the cover.
